Festival 2026
For the 21st time, the 11mm – International Football Film Festival brings football to the place where it unfolds its very own magic: the cinema. From March 26 to 30, the traditional Colosseum Berlin on Schönhauser Allee will become a meeting place for stories of triumphs and tragedies, legends and underdogs. The festival kicked off with the rousing documentary A Summer in Italy – World Cup 1990.
The following days will also see outstanding new releases, including Heysel 85, as well as rediscovered feature film gems – portraits of formative personalities such as Luis Enrique, Kenny Dalglish and Peter Schmeichel and cult classics à la Shaolin Soccer and Die Wilden Kerlethat bring football in all its adventurous facets to the big screen. The focus is on films that symbolize the passion of the game, the people – and the conviction that football lasts far longer than just 90 minutes. Five full festival days with over 40 short and feature-length films from 17 countries await the 11mm audience.
