When you can hear the ice crack, it is very quiet in the cinema. Like in this year's winning film of the 11mm shortkicks award Foul by Rune Denstad Langlo from Norway. The calm film about a girl's passion for football in the - as it seems - eternal snow. The film scored the most points from the jury - Kevin Kühnert, Ulrike Häfner, Florian Werner, Mariette Rissenbeek, Martin Gottschild, Friederike Kempter, Annekatrin Hendel and Tülin Duman. The Chilean production Estrellas del desierto by Katherina Harder Sacre was narrowly beaten. It was followed in third place by Libre Directo - a Spanish classic about the possibilities that can arise in football.

The evening was opened by the Indian singer Ditty, who set the mood right from the start.

Short talks about the future of football culture in the context of the EURO 2024 and about the future of women's football with representatives from Viktoria Berlin, Turbine Postdam, Hertha BSC, DAZN and Volkswagen rounded off the gala.
