Just four weeks until #11mm2016

Saturday, 06 February 2016

After reviewing more than 150 submissions from around the world, including films big and small, the selection process for the 13th International Football Film Festival 11mm is nearing its end.

The 11mm team once again faces the difficult task of fitting so many incredible stories into an engaging five-day program. Tough decisions are yet to be made, but it's certain that there will be some great cinematic moments.

One film that will attract fans of all stripes is "Ferne Liebe" ("Distant Love"), a film about football fans from various parts of Germany living "in exile" in Berlin. Forced to travel even to their "home" games or to watch from afar, these fans form uncommon bonds with the city, their clubs and each other.

We're proud to announce that "Ferne Liebe" will make its world premiere at 11mm Football Film Festival. You can watch the trailer here:
