The Stranger

Moussa Cissokho only arrived in Europe from Senegal two years ago. He now works as the coach of the under-14s at BX Brussels in the city’s deprived Molenbeck district. Moussa doesn’t only coach his players on the pitch, but also in life.

What’s more, he’s the protagonist of director Kenneth Michiels’ film “L'Etranger”. Both travelled to Berlin to be there at the film’s German premiere. Cissokho’s authentic and empathetic manner made a wonderful impression on the audience. And he seemed to have enjoyed his trip to Berlin, to the festival, and to the Hertha BSC match.
